Sun Paper has established the Beihai Park and the Nanning Park in the Guangxi Base, aiming to fully leverage local resource advantages, geographic advantages and market advantages, accelerate ocean-oriented development, coordinate and interact with its Lao Raw Materials Base along the Belt and Road, improve coordination of products from South China and North China, and enhance its comprehensive competitiveness. 

Beihai Park

As an important city in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and a key city along the Belt and Road, Beihai boasts obvious geographic advantages and a favorable business environment. In 2019, Sun Paper fully implemented the guiding principles of the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour to Guangxi and especially Beihai, implemented the instructions and requirements on developing ocean-oriented economy, accelerated strategic structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, and settled down in Guangxi. Sun Paper has established a wholly-owned subsidiary named Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd., and developed a 3,500,000-ton capacity integrated forest-pulp-paper project at the Tieshan Port (Coastal) Industrial Park of Beihai as well as supporting product processing parks. The project has been included in the “major new industrial and technological projects” list of Guangxi. 

Nanning Park

The launch of Nanning Sun Paper’s high-end, smart and green forest-pulp-paper technical renovation project and supporting industrial parks is an important strategic plan of Sun Paper for advancing transformation and upgrading and building itself into a 100-billion-level enterprise. The project and the Beihai Park and the Laos Base are expected to further draw on each other's strengths, share resources, achieve coordinated development, motivate Sun Paper to give play to its advantages in the process of joint development of the Belt and Road Initiative, and form a world-leading high-end whole industrial-cluster papermaking cluster ranging from raw materials to consumer products. Sun Paper accelerates the construction of the Nanning Park project, keeps improving the quality and performance of Beihai Park, focuses on the innovation-driven development strategy, accelerates high-end, smart and green development, strives to build in Guangxi a high-end papermaking industrial chain cluster with a 10,000,000-ton pulp & paper production capacity and international competitiveness, speeds up the process empowered by digital and intelligent technologies, keeps creating new momentum and new strengths for development, strengthens the coordination and interaction between the Laos Base and the Guangxi Base, promotes the dual circulation of domestic and international markets, strives to make new achievements in high-quality development, and makes greater contributions to breaking new ground for building a beautiful Guangxi in the new era!
