Shandong Base is the headquarters of Sun Paper. It consists of the plant area in the headquarters of Yanzhou District, Jining, the Yandian plant area and Zoucheng Honghe plant area, with an annual production capacity of 8,000,000-ton paper and pulp.

Starting from scratch in 1982, it took shape through business startup, recruitment and joint operation. By means of introducing foreign investments and key and core talent as well as low-cost expansion, it has realized joint-stock reform. It has expanded its product categories by getting listed, expanding the financing channels, adopting the internationalization strategy and going global. By carrying out scientific and technological R&D activities, improving efficiency and advancing information-based and lean production, it has structurally adjusted products and raw materials.

The base boasts world-leading pulping and papermaking lines, and has formed a product structure led by high-end cultural paper, high-end coated paper, high-end coated packaging board, high-end industrial packaging paper, high-end paper for daily use, special fiber dissolving pulp, and special paper, etc.
